During times of uncertainty with COVID-19 changing the way we do things; we can now see the importance of our parks more than ever. Parks and green spaces give us the opportunity to get out of the house while still remaining safe, being able to maintain social distancing and stay within all guidelines.

A recent project has been approved to move forward that will refurbish the park and bring it right up to date for 2020.

Working nationwide has enabled Alpha Rail to be involved in countless projects up and down the country. However, it always comes as a refreshing change to work closer to our home here in the East Midlands.

The first phase of a £1.3million development has recently been completed on the former Cannock Stadium site at Pye Green Road, Cannock. Funded by Cannock Chase District Council, the park will be a fantastic open space for the public to enjoy.

South Kilburn’s brand new urban park was officially opened on 7 May having undergone major transformations that include metal railings manufactured and supplied by Alpha Rail.
