Metal Railings and Gates Manufacturer, Alpha Rail interview on BBC Radio Nottingham about restoration of metal railings and gates at Kia Oval.
The interview was broadcast live on air on Tuesday 30 April at 5.55pm and featured Sales Director Phil Ball discussing the work Alpha Rail have done to refurbish the Jack Hobbs Gates at the Kia Oval.
Phil explained that Alpha Rail got the work because of a thirty year reputation for working alongside landscapers, architects, building and civil engineers and public sector organisations to provide bespoke metalwork and metal railing and gates.
The restoration of the Jack Hobbs gates is part of a major project to improve the entrances at the Kia Oval. Alpha Rail removed the gates and transported them back to the factory in Kirkby in Ashfield where they were restored and other modifications made so they could be returned and re-sited in their new location
Working on such a high profile project is great as it helps build Alpha Rail’s credibility further. The team feels very proud to have been trusted to work on the gates and it underlines the fact that Alpha Rail understands the sensitivities required to work on projects involving memorials and monuments of history.
