The improvements have involved changes to traffic direction, new traffic signal junctions, the widening of footways to enable a cycle lane, the replacement of existing footways and new pedestrian ramps.
The overall aim was to divert traffic away from around Widcombe Parade and create a more pleasant environment for shoppers, pedestrians and cyclists.
