Alpha Rail’s UK-Wide network of sub-contract installers was called into action when we were asked to manufacture bespoke architectural metalwork to reflect a school emblem. Proving that distance really is no object for us when it comes to satisfying customer needs and manufacturing metal railings for a school in Somerset.
They specifically wanted laser profiled lettering and images for the school entrance gates. In total Alpha Rail supplied 29 linear metres of flat top railings which were galvanized and powder coated blue RAL 5017.
We also supplied entrance gates which featured laser profiled lettering of “Welcome” and the “Huish Primary School” name. A number of images including a footballer, a tree, musical notes, a pupil reading a book and further personalised elements were also laser profiled and embellished with coloured vinyl graphics to reflect the school badge and visual identity.
Commenting, Alpha Rail Sales Director, Phil Ball said, “We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and manufacturing bespoke architectural metalwork to personalise metal railings and gates project is a particular speciality.”
The school reported a few niggles and snags after the initial installation had been completed and we responded quickly and were more than happy to send an Alpha Rail technician to the school to ensure the finished project met with the customers expectations. We pride ourselves on our customer care and after sales service is an aspect that we like to think gives Alpha Rail the edge over it’s competitors.
Historically Huish school was an amalgamation of two schools, one dating from 1846 and the other from 1904. They were situated close together, and combined under one head teacher in 1952. In 1989, due to town centre redevelopment, the school was re-located into a modern building. In 2013, Huish Primary School became an Academy and provides education to 420 pupils.
