A Victorian house in Mapperley Park Nottingham has been renovated and turned into luxury apartments featuring metal vertical bar railings supplied by Alpha Rail.
Marlborough Hall now features 16 apartments in the existing building.
Built in 1875, this former Victorian house has been aesthetically refurbished by BSP Holdings who have restored many original features including a stunning atrium, stonework around the windows, wooden beams and Minton tiled flooring.
Alpha Rail was contracted to manufacture and install 108 linear metres of decorative vertical bar metal railings which were galvanized and powder coated black RAL 9005. The railings featured a decorative finial which were machined as 30 diameter sphere balls and mounted on alternative vertical bars.
The metal railings were base plate mounted in to chamfered flat coping stones that were cemented on top of the natural stone walling.
Commenting, Paul Jones from BSP Holdings said, “We were keen to retain the authenticity of the building and its environment. Being closely located to a nearby park, we wanted metal railings that would add to the overall aesthetics of the development. Alpha Rail was able to meet our requirements and supply railings manufactured to a high quality.”
The finished complex now comprises one and two bedroom luxury apartments some with outdoor space including courtyard gardens and patio areas, and all apartments benefit from allocated parking.Tags: residentialvertical bar railings
