The time of year has come again to keep our fingers crossed that a project in which Alpha Rail has been involved will be a winner at the upcoming 41st BALI National Landscape Awards Night.
Due to the fact, we are rarely the lead contractor and our metalwork products are usually a peripheral aspect in a much bigger landscaping project, we are unable to enter the awards independently. We always however, keep an eye on the awards, just in case projects that have been nominated as finalist feature metalwork manufactured by Alpha Rail.
Alpha Rail are an ‘Affiliate member of BALI” and our metalwork products have featured many times in other BALI Award Winning Schemes. This year we are delighted to announce that we have supplied metalwork for two projects that have been announced on the shortlist.
The following projects have been notified that they have won awards in this year’s prestigious BALI National Landscape Awards and will now wait until the awards ceremony to find out if they have won a principal award.
- Shadwell Estate Improvements – Hard Landscaping Construction (Non-Domestic) Cost over £1.5 million
- St Mary’s Churchyard – Hard Landscaping Construction (Non-Domestic) Cost between £300k – £1.5m
Over 115 award entries were received this year and the adjudication panel spent the summer visiting various areas around the UK to determine who the 60 finalists should be.
This year’s Awards Ceremony, to be held at the Grosvenor House on 1 December, will be hosted by BBC journalist and Breakfast business presenter Steph McGovern.
