Alpha Rail recently got an unusual request from a private client who wanted to secure his Nottinghamshire property using vertical bar metal railings.
His property is located in Papplewick, a village located only eight miles north of Nottingham City Centre and six miles south of Mansfield.
Having worked with Alpha Rail in the past on a previous project that required the installation of metal railings above archways adjacent to a nearby river, the homeowner once again contacted our office to see if we could provide a design solution that would help deter locals from trespassing in his garden.
After conducting a site survey to take precise measurements of the landscape, it was clear that the metal railings we were about to quote would need to take into consideration a river which ran through the garden. It was explained to us by the homeowner that the railings needed be tall enough to prevent trespassers from climbing over but low enough to the water level of the river to stop them crawling underneath.
The design solution we recommended was the installation of 10 metres of 1800mm high vertical bar metal railings.
All metalwork supplied to the project was installed on time, galvanised and polyester powder coated RAL 6005 Moss Green in keeping with the woodland and garden setting.
Commenting on his new vertical bar metal railings the homeowner said “I am very pleased with the work that has been installed. I would just like to say that the guys from Alpha Rail who fitted the railings were first class, polite, courteous, respectful, and all round excellent tradesmen. Both lads are a credit to the company.”
Phil Ball, Sales Director at Alpha Rail said, “Even though this was an unusual project for us to take on, it is always nice to receive feedback from the client explaining that the dedication shown by our team of skilled professionals never waivers regardless of the type of project they are working on.”
