Product Feature – M1 Pedestrian Guardrail

The primary purpose of pedestrian guardrail is to guide pedestrians to safe crossing points along busy highways. The most simple form of pedestrian guardrail specification manufactured by Alpha Rail is the M1 style, a common sight on roadsides across the length and breadth of Britain. It is a unit panel design with full height infills, requiring no extra posts.

It is a highly cost-effective form of pedestrian guardrail, standing at 1050mm high above ground level and set back 450mm from kerb face. Pedestrian guardrail is typically set in a 300mm x 300mm x 450mm deep foundation.

Galvanised M1 pedestrian guardrail

Alpha Rail holds large amounts of both 1M and 2M length pedestrian guardrail panels in a galvanised finish ready for quick nationwide delivery.

Orders requiring galvanised M1 pedestrian guardrail panels can be delivered usually within 3 working days. Panels requiring a polyester powder coated finish takes only an additional 1 week.
