The Christmas period is fast approaching, and we would like to take this opportunity to let you know the Alpha Rail Christmas shutdown period over Christmas and New Year 2021.
As of 12 noon on Thursday 24th December we will be closing our office and will reopen for business on 4th January 2021.
It is safe to say that this year has most definitely not gone as expected and we have seen the world become a very unfamiliar place with lockdowns, social distancing, tiers etc.
However, despite this, Alpha Rail put measures in place to meet COVID-19 guidelines to ensure that we can power forward and work safely through the global pandemic. We have been able to continue fulfilling enquiries to manufacture and install metalwork across the UK.
Once again this year Alpha Rail has been involved in some fantastic and high profile projects, such as:
Trafford Park Line – MPact Thales
This was a massively successful and significant piece of civil engineering, improving transport links for the city and offering ease of access to places of work, leisure, and retail. Trafford Park Line was finished months ahead of time and went on to win multiple awards.
AELTC – All England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon)
The AELTC is best known as the venue for the Wimbledon Championships. Alpha Rail was appointed to supply and install a range of different metalwork products, including flat top railings, ornamental railings, chain link fence and a variety of gates.
Alpha Rail has supplied pedestrian guardrail to an Airbus facility in Bristol, which is used for the assembly of wings for commercial aircraft. All metalwork was galvanised and polyester powder coated in a dark blue colour to match Airbus site standard colours and branding.
On behalf of all the staff here at Alpha Rail, we would like to thank our customers for their continued support throughout 2020. It has been a pleasure to work with you all and we look forward to continuing these relationships well into 2021.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
From everyone at Alpha Rail
