Project Overview

The Tuscany Gardens project in Crawley, Sussex is a private development of ninety exclusive flats. In the middle of the development was a two level car park . In order to improve the attractiveness of the car park, a roof garden had been planted several years ago which had fallen in to a state of dis-repair.

The development owners appointed David Jeffs of Complete Interior Contracts Limited to renovate the car park roof garden.

Alpha Rail Solution

As the garden was situated on top of a car park, metal railings, handrails and guardrails were required around the perimeter of the roof top to prevent visitors to the garden from falling.

Alpha Rail were appointed to supply and install 230 linear metres of 1400mm high balustrade which was powder coated black and featured decorative finials and handrails either side of the entrance stair case.

The roof garden has now been restored to a very high standard and is a very attractive view for residents. Visitors to the roof garden are now able to enjoy sitting on the terrace and are safely and securely protected by the perimeter railings.

"Following an internet search for a respected metal railings, handrail and balustrade provider I came across the Alpha Rail website and was immediately impressed with the work illustrated in their projects library. I contacted them and was provided with a competitive quotation for the railings we required. The metalwork manufacturing quality, project management and speed of installation has been excellent. I will definitely use them on future projects."
